Privacy Policy — Ruangku

Data We Collect

Account & profile data: name, email, phone number, and profile photo -- created when your company signs up or when your company's admin adds you as a user. Company data: name, address, and owner contact details. Location data: GPS coordinates when you clock in/out in the mobile app, used to record attendance location -- your location is NOT tracked outside of that clock-in/out process. Photos, videos, and documents you upload as task attachments, progress reports, attendance proof, or leave/permission requests. Conversation history with the "Tanya Ruangku" AI assistant about your project/task data. Push notification tokens, used to send notifications to your device (e.g. a new or approved task). If you fill out the "Request Demo" form on this site: your name, company name, email, WhatsApp number, and any message you write. Basic technical data such as IP address and device type, used for security (e.g. detecting suspicious login attempts).

How We Use Your Data

To run Ruangku's core features for the company you're registered under -- project management, tasks, attendance, reports, and budget (RAB). To send notifications about your work activity. To respond to and follow up on demo requests from this site. To keep accounts secure, e.g. detecting suspicious login attempts. We do NOT use your data for advertising, do NOT sell it to anyone, and do NOT embed any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the Ruangku app.

Who We Share Data With

Your data is only accessible to other users within the SAME COMPANY, based on each person's role and permissions (e.g. a manager/PM sees their team's task progress, a client only sees their own projects) -- there is no cross-company access on this platform. We use a limited number of third-party service providers to run the platform: an S3-compatible cloud storage provider to store the photos/videos/documents you upload, and Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications to the mobile app. These providers only process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes. We may disclose data if required to do so by applicable law.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on servers and databases located in Indonesia. Passwords are stored as hashes (never as plain text), and all communication between the app and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Data access is restricted per company (multi-tenant) -- one company can never see another company's data on the same platform.

How Long We Keep Data

Data is kept for as long as your account/company remains active on Ruangku. If your company cancels its subscription or requests data deletion, we will delete or anonymize the related personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Because Ruangku is used by your company (not directly by you as an individual customer), such requests should first be directed to the admin/owner of the company you're registered under. You may also contact us directly using the details below, and we'll help route your request to the relevant company.

Children's Privacy

Ruangku is a work tool for construction & interior design companies, not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features. The "Last updated" date above will change whenever there's a meaningful update. We recommend checking this page periodically.
